Pyramid Complex
The Pyramid Complex refers to a group of ancient structures primarily located in Giza, Egypt. This complex includes the famous Great Pyramid of Giza, built for the Pharaoh Khufu, along with the Pyramid of Khafre and the Pyramid of Menkaure. These pyramids served as monumental tombs and are part of a larger archaeological site that includes temples and smaller pyramids.
The Great Sphinx of Giza is also part of the Pyramid Complex, situated near the pyramids. This iconic statue features a lion's body and a human head, believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre. The entire complex is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and attracts millions of visitors each year, showcasing the architectural and cultural achievements of ancient Egypt.
