Provinces of Mongolia
Mongolia is divided into 21 provinces, known as aimags, and one capital city, Ulaanbaatar. Each aimag has its own administrative center and is further divided into smaller districts called soum. The provinces vary in size and population, with some being more urbanized while others are predominantly rural.
The aimags are rich in natural resources and cultural heritage. For example, Khovd is known for its diverse ethnic groups and beautiful landscapes, while Dornod is famous for its vast steppes and wildlife. Each province contributes to Mongolia's unique identity and economy.
