Princess Louise of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt was born on December 14, 1860, in Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, a small principality in Germany. She was the daughter of Prince Gustav of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt and Princess Marie of Saxe-Altenburg.
