Princess Louise of Saxe-Altenburg was born on December 21, 1858, in Altenburg, Germany. She was a member of the Saxe-Altenburg branch of the House of Wettin and the daughter of Prince Moritz of Saxe-Altenburg and Princess Agnes of Anhalt-Bernburg. In 1879, Louise married Prince Ernst of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, becoming the Duchess of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. The couple had three children and lived a life dedicated to family and social duties. Louise passed away on March 31, 1937, leaving behind a legacy tied to her noble lineage and contributions to her community.
