Princess Caroline of Nassau-Saarbrücken was born on December 1, 1743, in Saarbrücken, Germany. She was a member of the House of Nassau and the daughter of Duke Louis of Nassau-Saarbrücken and Princess Caroline of Hesse-Rotenburg.
Caroline married Prince Louis of Hesse-Darmstadt in 1762, strengthening ties between their noble families. She became known for her charitable work and support of the arts during her lifetime, contributing to the cultural landscape of her time. Caroline passed away on January 18, 1796.
