Princess Augusta of Wales
Princess Augusta of Wales was born on November 31, 1737, as the daughter of Frederick, Prince of Wales and Princess Augusta of Saxe-Gotha. She was a member of the British royal family and the sister of King George III. Augusta was known for her intelligence and strong character, often involved in cultural and social activities of her time.
In 1764, she married Charles, Duke of Cumberland, and they had no children. Augusta was a patron of the arts and played a significant role in the development of Kew Gardens. She passed away on March 23, 1813, leaving a legacy of cultural contributions.
