Frederick, Prince of Wales
Frederick, Prince of Wales (1707-1751), was the eldest son of King George II of Great Britain and Caroline of Ansbach. He was born in Hanover, Germany, and became the heir apparent to the British throne. Frederick was known for his interest in the arts and culture, often hosting gatherings that included prominent intellectuals and artists of his time.
Despite his royal status, Frederick had a tumultuous relationship with his father, leading to a strained family dynamic. He spent much of his life in London and Wales, where he was involved in various political and social issues, but he never ascended to the throne due to his early death.
