Princess Augusta of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt
Princess Augusta of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt was born on December 18, 1797, in Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, a small principality in present-day Germany. She was the daughter of Prince Gustav of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt and Princess Luise of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. Augusta became known for her charitable work and involvement in social causes during her lifetime.
In 1817, Augusta married Prince Karl of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, and they had several children together.
