Princess Anna of Anhalt-Köthen
Princess Anna of Anhalt-Köthen was born on December 24, 1573, in Köthen, a town in present-day Germany. She was a member of the House of Ascania and the daughter of Prince Wolfgang of Anhalt-Köthen. Anna played a significant role in the political landscape of her time through her marriage alliances.
In 1590, Anna married Count Heinrich of Stolberg-Wernigerode, strengthening ties between their noble families. Her life was marked by her contributions to the cultural and social life of her court, as well as her involvement in the governance of her husband's territories. Anna passed away on March 19, 1613.
