Princess Adelheid of Anhalt-Dessau was born on July 3, 1792, in Dessau, Germany. She was a member of the {House of Ascania} and the daughter of {Prince Leopold IV of Anhalt-Dessau}. Adelheid is known for her contributions to the cultural and social life of her time, particularly in the arts and education. In 1818, she married {Prince Frederick of Hohenlohe-Langenburg}, strengthening ties between noble families.
