Prince Karim Aga Khan
Prince Karim Aga Khan, born on December 13, 1936, is the 49th Imam of the Nizari Ismaili branch of Shia Islam. He succeeded his grandfather, Sir Sultan Mahomed Shah Aga Khan, in 1957. As a spiritual leader, he provides guidance to millions of Ismaili Muslims around the world.
In addition to his religious role, the Aga Khan is known for his philanthropic work through the Aga Khan Development Network, which focuses on improving health, education, and economic development in various countries.
