Prince Henry of France
Prince Henry of France, also known as Henry III of France, was born on September 19, 1551. He was the son of King Henry II of France and Catherine de' Medici. Henry became the Duke of Anjou and later the King of France from 1574 until his assassination in 1589. His reign was marked by religious conflicts, particularly the French Wars of Religion between Catholics and Huguenots.
Henry was known for his efforts to unify France and promote peace among the warring factions. He was a member of the House of Valois and was involved in various political alliances, including his marriage to Louise of Lorraine. His death led to the end of the Valois dynasty and the rise of the House of Bourbon.
