George served in various military roles and was known for his dedication to the Greek army. In addition to his military career, Prince George held the title of Duke of Sparta. He played a significant role in the political landscape of Greece during his lifetime, particularly during the Balkan Wars. He passed away on April 1, 1957, in Monaco.
