Prince Alexander of Hesse
Prince Alexander of Hesse was a member of the German nobility, born on April 14, 1823. He was the son of Grand Duke Louis III of Hesse and Princess Wilhelmine of Baden. Alexander served in the military and held various positions within the Hessian government, contributing to the administration of his region.
In 1844, he married Princess Julia of Battenberg, and they had several children. Alexander was known for his interest in the arts and sciences, and he played a role in promoting cultural activities in Hesse. He passed away on May 15, 1888, leaving a legacy tied to his family's history.
