Pingali Venkayya
Pingali Venkayya was an Indian freedom fighter and a prominent figure in the Indian independence movement. He is best known for designing the national flag of India, which was adopted in 1947. Venkayya was born on August 2, 1876, in Andhra Pradesh and was deeply influenced by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
