Bhagat Singh
Bhagat Singh was a prominent Indian revolutionary born on September 28, 1907, in Punjab, India. He is best known for his role in the struggle against British colonial rule. Singh was deeply influenced by the ideas of freedom and justice, which led him to join various revolutionary groups aimed at ending British oppression.
In 1928, Singh gained notoriety for his involvement in the assassination of a British police officer, which was a response to the death of Indian leader Lala Lajpat Rai. He was later arrested and executed on March 23, 1931, becoming a martyr and an enduring symbol of resistance in India’s fight for independence.
