Philippa of England
Philippa of England was a medieval queen, born in 1314, who became the wife of King Edward III of England. She was the daughter of King Edward II and Isabella of France. Philippa played a significant role in the political landscape of her time, often acting as a mediator during conflicts and supporting her husband's reign.
As queen consort, Philippa had 13 children, including Edward, the Black Prince, who became a notable military leader. She was known for her charitable works and her efforts to promote peace, particularly during the early years of the Hundred Years' War between England and France.
