Persian-speaking world
The Persian-speaking world primarily includes countries where the Persian language, also known as Farsi, is spoken. This encompasses Iran, where it is the official language, as well as parts of Afghanistan, where it is referred to as Dari, and Tajikistan, where it is called Tajik. These regions share cultural and historical ties, influenced by the rich heritage of the Persian Empire.
In addition to these countries, the Persian-speaking community extends to diaspora populations around the globe, particularly in the United States, Canada, and Europe. This community maintains its language and culture through various media, literature, and social organizations, contributing to the global Persian identity.
