Peoples of Ethiopia
Ethiopia is home to over 80 distinct ethnic groups, each with its own language, culture, and traditions. The largest groups include the Oromo, Amhara, and Tigray, which together make up a significant portion of the population. These diverse communities contribute to Ethiopia's rich cultural heritage, reflected in their music, dance, and festivals.
The country's official language is Amharic, but many other languages are spoken, such as Oromo and Tigrinya. Ethiopia is also known for its ancient history, with sites like Axum and Lalibela showcasing the legacy of its various peoples and their contributions to civilization.
