Peanut Farming
Peanut farming involves the cultivation of peanuts, a legume that grows underground. Farmers typically plant peanut seeds in warm, well-drained soil during the spring. The plants require adequate sunlight and moisture to thrive, and they usually take about four to five months to mature.
Once the peanuts are ready for harvest, farmers use specialized equipment to dig them up from the soil. After harvesting, the peanuts are cleaned and dried before being processed or sold. Peanut farming is common in regions with a warm climate, such as the southern United States and parts of Africa.
