Paul I of Greece
Paul I of Greece was born on December 14, 1901, and became the King of Greece in 1947, following the death of his brother, King George II. His reign was marked by political instability and the aftermath of World War II, as Greece faced civil conflict and economic challenges.
King Paul I worked to stabilize the country and improve relations with Western nations. He was known for his efforts in promoting social welfare and modernization. His reign lasted until his death on March 6, 1964, after which his son, King Constantine II, ascended to the throne.
