Parliament of Italy
The Parliament of Italy is the legislative body of the Italian Republic, consisting of two chambers: the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. The Chamber of Deputies has 400 members, while the Senate has 200 members. Both chambers are responsible for making laws, approving budgets, and overseeing the government.
Members of the Parliament are elected by the citizens of Italy through a proportional representation system. The Parliament meets in the Palazzo Montecitorio for the Chamber of Deputies and in the Palazzo Madama for the Senate. Together, they play a crucial role in shaping Italy's political landscape.
