Parc Zoologique de Paris
The Parc Zoologique de Paris, also known as the Paris Zoo, is a prominent zoological park located in the Bois de Vincennes in Paris, France. Opened in 1934, it spans 14.5 hectares and is home to over 2,000 animals representing around 180 species. The zoo is designed to mimic natural habitats, providing a more immersive experience for visitors.
The zoo underwent a major renovation that was completed in 2014, enhancing its facilities and exhibits. It features five biozones: Sahel-Sudan, Amazonia, Patagonia, Europe, and Madagascar, each showcasing unique ecosystems and the animals that inhabit them.
