Parasnath
Parasnath is the highest peak in the Parasnath Hills, located in the Jharkhand state of India. It stands at an elevation of 1,350 meters (4,429 feet) and is a significant site for Jainism, as it is believed to be the place where Lord Parasnath, the 23rd Tirthankara, attained enlightenment.
The area is known for its rich biodiversity and scenic beauty, attracting trekkers and nature enthusiasts. The hills are covered with dense forests and are home to various flora and fauna. Additionally, the Parasnath Temple complex, situated on the mountain, is an important pilgrimage site for Jains.
