Paolo Nespoli
Paolo Nespoli is an Italian astronaut and engineer born on April 6, 1957. He has flown on three space missions, including two long-duration stays aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Nespoli is known for his work in various scientific experiments and technology demonstrations in microgravity.
Before becoming an astronaut, Nespoli served in the Italian Army and worked as an engineer for Alenia Aeronautica. He was selected as an astronaut by the European Space Agency (ESA) in 2007. Nespoli has also contributed to educational outreach, inspiring future generations to explore space.
