Ossetic
Ossetic is an Eastern Iranian language primarily spoken in the North Ossetia-Alania region of Russia and in South Ossetia, a disputed territory. It is part of the Indo-European language family and has two main dialects: Iron and Digor.
The language has a rich literary tradition and is written using the Cyrillic script. Ossetic has been influenced by neighboring languages, including Georgian and Russian, and it features unique phonetic and grammatical characteristics that distinguish it from other Iranian languages.
