Osmunda
Osmunda is a genus of ferns commonly known as royal ferns. They are found in temperate and tropical regions around the world, thriving in moist, shaded environments. These ferns are characterized by their large, feathery fronds and distinctive spore-producing structures called sori, which are typically located on the undersides of the leaves.
The most well-known species within the Osmunda genus is Osmunda regalis, or the royal fern, which can grow up to 1.5 meters tall. Osmunda ferns are often used in landscaping and gardening due to their attractive foliage and ability to tolerate wet conditions.
