Orion Belt
The Orion Belt is a prominent feature in the night sky, part of the larger constellation Orion. It consists of three bright stars: Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka, which are nearly in a straight line. These stars are easily recognizable and serve as a guide for stargazers to locate other celestial objects.
Located in the Milky Way, the Orion Belt is visible from most inhabited regions of Earth during winter months in the Northern Hemisphere and summer months in the Southern Hemisphere. The stars in the belt are relatively close to each other in space, making them an important reference point for astronomers.
