Ohio Graduation Test
The Ohio Graduation Test (OGT) was a standardized assessment designed to measure high school students' proficiency in key subjects, including reading, mathematics, writing, science, and social studies. It was implemented to ensure that students met the necessary academic standards before graduating from high school in Ohio.
The OGT was first administered in 2002 and was required for students graduating from the class of 2010 and beyond. In 2014, the test was replaced by the Ohio State Tests as part of a broader effort to align assessments with new educational standards.
