Odette Hallowes
Odette Hallowes was a British spy during World War II, known for her bravery and intelligence work. Born in 1912 in France, she moved to England and later joined the Special Operations Executive (SOE), a secret organization that conducted espionage and sabotage against the Nazis.
Captured by the Germans in 1943, Odette endured harsh treatment in prison but refused to reveal any information. After the war, she was awarded the George Medal and the Croix de Guerre for her courage. Her story highlights the significant contributions of women in wartime intelligence efforts.
