Nubra
Nubra is a valley located in the northern region of Ladakh, India. It is known for its stunning landscapes, featuring sand dunes, mountains, and the confluence of the Shyok and Nubra rivers. The valley is accessible via the Khardung La pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
The region is culturally rich, home to various monasteries, including Diskit Monastery, which is famous for its giant Buddha statue. Nubra is also known for its unique double-humped camels, which can be seen in the sand dunes, adding to the area's charm and attracting tourists.
