Northern Uganda
Northern Uganda is a region located in the northern part of the country, bordered by South Sudan to the north and Lake Albert to the west. It is known for its diverse landscapes, including savannahs, wetlands, and forests. The region is home to several ethnic groups, with the Acholi and Langi being the most prominent.
Historically, Northern Uganda has faced challenges, including conflict and displacement due to the activities of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) in the late 20th century. Today, the region is working towards recovery and development, with efforts focused on rebuilding communities and improving infrastructure.
