Northern Qi
The Northern Qi was a Chinese dynasty that ruled from 550 to 577 AD during the period known as the Northern and Southern Dynasties. It was established by the Xianbei people and was known for its military strength and cultural achievements. The capital was located in Ye, present-day Handan in Hebei province.
The dynasty is often recognized for its advancements in art and architecture, particularly in Buddhist sculpture. However, it faced internal strife and external threats, leading to its eventual downfall when it was conquered by the Sui dynasty in 577 AD.
