North Slope Iñupiat
The North Slope Iñupiat are an Indigenous people living in the northernmost region of Alaska. They primarily inhabit the North Slope Borough, which includes communities like Barrow (now known as Utqiaġvik). The Iñupiat have a rich cultural heritage, relying on traditional practices such as hunting, fishing, and gathering for their subsistence.
