Nordic Council of Ministers
The Nordic Council of Ministers is a regional intergovernmental organization that promotes cooperation among the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Established in 1971, it focuses on various areas such as culture, education, and environmental issues, aiming to enhance the welfare and quality of life in the region.
The Council consists of ministers from each member country, who meet regularly to discuss policies and initiatives. It also collaborates with the Nordic Council, which includes parliamentarians from the same countries, to ensure that legislative perspectives are considered in regional cooperation efforts.
