Noche de Reyes
Noche de Reyes, or Three Kings' Night, is celebrated on January 5th in many Spanish-speaking countries. It commemorates the arrival of the Three Wise Men who brought gifts to the baby Jesus. Families often gather for festivities, including parades and music, to honor this tradition.
On this night, children leave their shoes out, hoping to receive gifts from the Reyes Magos. A popular treat during this celebration is the Rosca de Reyes, a sweet bread shaped like a crown, which contains hidden figurines. The person who finds a figurine is expected to host a party on Candelaria Day, February 2nd.
