National Front of Iran
The National Front of Iran is a political organization founded in 1949, primarily aimed at promoting Iranian nationalism and advocating for democratic governance. It emerged in response to foreign influence in Iran, particularly from the United Kingdom and the United States, and played a significant role in the nationalization of the Iranian oil industry in the early 1950s.
The movement was led by prominent figures such as Mohammad Mossadegh, who served as Prime Minister. The National Front's influence waned after the 1953 coup that overthrew Mossadegh, but it remains a symbol of resistance against authoritarianism and foreign intervention in Iran's political affairs.
