National Democratic Front of Bodoland
The National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) is a separatist organization based in the northeastern region of India, primarily advocating for the creation of a separate state for the Bodo people. Formed in 1986, the group seeks to address the political, social, and economic rights of the Bodo community in the state of Assam.
The NDFB has been involved in various forms of activism, including armed struggle, to achieve its goals. Over the years, the organization has faced significant government crackdowns and has been involved in peace talks, leading to varying degrees of conflict and negotiation with the Indian government.
