NGC_1907
NGC 1907 is an open star cluster located in the constellation Auriga. It was discovered by the astronomer William Herschel in 1786 and is situated approximately 4,000 light-years away from Earth. The cluster contains around 100 stars and is estimated to be about 500 million years old.
The stars in NGC 1907 are relatively faint, making the cluster less well-known than others. It is often studied for its stellar population and dynamics, providing insights into the formation and evolution of star clusters in our galaxy, the Milky Way.
