NGC 1907
NGC 1907 is an open star cluster located in the constellation Auriga. It was discovered by the astronomer William Herschel in 1786. The cluster is approximately 4,000 light-years away from Earth and contains around 100 stars, many of which are young and hot.
The cluster is situated near another well-known cluster, M37, and is often studied for its stellar population and dynamics. NGC 1907 is estimated to be about 200 million years old, making it relatively young in astronomical terms. Its stars are spread out over a region of about 10 arcminutes in diameter.
