Muscle Spasms
Muscle spasms are involuntary contractions of one or more muscles, often causing discomfort or pain. They can occur in any muscle in the body, but are most common in the legs, back, and neck. Spasms can be triggered by various factors, including dehydration, overuse, or muscle strain.
These contractions can last from a few seconds to several minutes and may be accompanied by a feeling of tightness. While most muscle spasms are harmless and resolve on their own, persistent or severe spasms may require medical attention to address underlying issues or to relieve discomfort.
