Murtala Muhammed
Murtala Muhammed was a Nigerian military officer and politician who served as the Head of State from July 1975 until his assassination in February 1976. He is known for his efforts to combat corruption and implement reforms in Nigeria, including the establishment of a new federal capital in Abuja.
