Mount Richthofen
Mount Richthofen is a prominent peak located in the Himalayas, specifically in the Karakoram range of northern Pakistan. It stands at an elevation of 7,710 meters (25,628 feet) and is known for its challenging climbing conditions. The mountain was first summited in 1975 by a team of climbers from West Germany.
The peak is named after Hermann von Richthofen, a German geographer and geologist. It is part of the Gasherbrum massif, which includes several other notable mountains. Mount Richthofen attracts experienced mountaineers due to its technical routes and harsh weather conditions.
