Mount Arafat is a significant hill located near Mecca in Saudi Arabia. It stands about 70 meters (230 feet) high and is an essential site for Muslims during the annual Hajj pilgrimage. Pilgrims gather here on the 9th day of the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah to perform the ritual known as the "Standing at Arafat," which is considered a vital part of the pilgrimage.
The hill is also known as the place where the Prophet Muhammad delivered his final sermon. It is a site of reflection and prayer, where pilgrims seek forgiveness and make supplications. The experience at Mount Arafat is often described as one of the most spiritually uplifting moments of the Hajj.
