Mongolian Independence
Mongolian Independence refers to the period when Mongolia sought to establish itself as a sovereign nation, separate from foreign control. After centuries of influence from China and Russia, Mongolia declared independence in 1911, following the fall of the Qing Dynasty. However, this independence was not fully recognized until later.
In 1921, the Mongolian People's Revolution led to the establishment of the Mongolian People's Republic, which was supported by the Soviet Union. This marked a significant shift in Mongolia's political landscape, as it transitioned from a monarchy to a socialist state, solidifying its independence from external powers.
