Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa is one of the 21 California missions founded by Spanish Franciscan missionaries. Established in 1772 by Father Junípero Serra, it is located in the city of San Luis Obispo, California. The mission was named after Saint Louis of Toulouse, a 13th-century Italian saint.
