Miloš Obrenović
Miloš Obrenović was a Serbian leader and prince who played a crucial role in the Serbian Revolution during the early 19th century. He is best known for his efforts to gain autonomy for Serbia from the Ottoman Empire. Miloš became the first modern ruler of Serbia and established a centralized government, promoting reforms in administration and education.
Born in 1780, Miloš led several uprisings against Ottoman rule, ultimately securing Serbia's independence. He ruled intermittently from 1815 until his death in 1860. His legacy includes the establishment of the Obrenović dynasty, which significantly influenced Serbian politics and society in the following decades.
