Karađorđe Petrović
Karađorđe Petrović was a Serbian leader and revolutionary known for his role in the First Serbian Uprising against Ottoman rule in the early 19th century. Born in 1768, he became a symbol of Serbian nationalism and is often referred to as the founder of the modern Serbian state. His leadership inspired many Serbs to fight for independence and autonomy.
After the uprising, Karađorđe faced various challenges, including conflicts with rival leaders and the Ottoman Empire. He eventually went into exile but returned to Serbia later in his life. He died in 1817, leaving a lasting legacy in Serbian history and culture.
