Michael The Brave
Michael the Brave was a notable ruler of the Principality of Wallachia in the late 16th century. Born in 1558, he is best known for his efforts to unite the three principalities of Wallachia, Moldavia, and Transylvania against external threats, particularly the Ottoman Empire. His reign marked a significant period of resistance and national identity in the region.
Michael's most famous military achievement was the victory at the Battle of Călugăreni in 1595, where he successfully defended Wallachia against the Ottomans.
