Battle of Călugăreni
The Battle of Călugăreni took place on August 23, 1595, during the conflict between the forces of the Ottoman Empire and the principality of Wallachia. Led by Michael the Brave, the Wallachian army aimed to defend their territory against the invading Ottomans, who sought to expand their influence in the region.
The battle was significant for its strategic importance, showcasing the resilience of the Wallachian forces.
